tatu
mbili is retired. tatu is here. i’m experiencing great excitement about starting over with a new book. for those of you who are clueless as to what i’m talking about… back in the day i started a new system with a moleskine. the original one i started (moya) was in a small moleskine and that was not going to work. so i graduated to the bigger one (mbili) and it really worked out great. i broke it up into sections: calendar, to do, the boys, check it, prayer, scripture, lyrics, things like that. i created my own calendar pages on the computer and put them in the moleskine. this proved to be a problem. eventually my binding started to give way and the calendar pages were quite small to work with. i really love using the moleskine. it’s a great system and i love the idea of having everything together. i have made some updates with tatu, adjusted some of the sections and i’ve pulled out my calendar. i’m back to using a regular calendar.
the key:
moya – swahili for ‘one’
mbili – swahili for ‘two’
tatu – swahili for ‘three’

i miss flora.. and i want to learn more swahili.
jenga means ‘to build’ in swahili.
nakupenda wewe means ‘i love you’.
usiku mwema means good night.
Way cool. I thought jenga was just a game with wooden blocks. I never knew it was a swahili word
Soon there will be sita!! Sita is my favorite!
