enormous grace
i finished ’son of a preacher man’ and wept. i was intrigued with the story of the bakker family, realizing that it was written from the son of the bakker’s, but i couldn’t believe what i was reading. i had no clue. not that i really got caught up in all that while it was going on, but i quickly judged based on what the media was presenting me. what moved me most about this read was how my eyes were opened to the enormity of God’s grace! grace has become sort of a theme in the messiah house lately. steven and i are trying to be good examples at offering grace while we are encouraging our boys to be receivers of God’s grace as well as givers of it.
